Northrop Grumman is currently accepting applications for the following positions:

ROBOTIC WELDER / PROGRAMMER

Position requires 3-5 yrs. experience programming and operating a robotic welding machine (Panasonic AW-006AL). Must be able to program, set up, and operate robot for various welding applications. Ability to interpret blueprints. Passing weld test required.

PIPE FITTER FOREMAN and OUTSIDE MACHINIST FOREMAN

Min 10 – 15 yrs ship repair exp and 10 yrs supervisory exp. Job duties include the coordination, administration and control of daily operations on board US NAVY ships and managing a sizeable team of employees in all areas of piping repairs including new installation. Responsibilities include maintaining production schedules, Test and Inspection Plans, developing and evaluating personnel, and interacting with executive levels of management. Applicant must have basic computer skills and be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite software. Must be US citizen.

PIPE WELDERS

Jry with 5 – 10 yrs. Shipboard/shipyard exp, know marine-piping systems, certify to Tig & able to pass welding test requirements. Must be US citizen. 

MARINE ELECTRICIAN

Immediate openings for Navy/Shipyard Journeyman Electricians with minimum of 5-7 yrs exp. Familiarity with Shipboard electrical systems, ability to read schematics, blueprints, and troubleshoot required. Multi-pin connector certified is a plus.

SHIP SUPERINTENDENT

Defense contractor seeks Ship Superintendents. Recent experience as a Ship Superintendent with a minimum of 3-5 years is required. Responsible for the successful execution of ship repair packages. Ensure activities are executed in accordance with established specifications, budgets and schedules. Applicant must have the ability to read and interpret work specifications and drawings. Communication and computer skills are required. Proven use of process improvement tools and team approach to problem solving. Must be a US citizen.
